21 Rowan Cottage

This is 21 Rowan Cottage in Trethewey. It's one of four holiday lets on the site, but the others are residential homes, so the neighbours are just living their lives, which is worth keeping in mind.

The cottage sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's a dormer room upstairs with a double bed. Downstairs, there's another double room and a twin with bunk beds. There's also a single bed in one of the double rooms, which suits a child, maybe a toddler upwards. We don't provide travel cots though.

The layout is open plan downstairs, with the living area and kitchen together. It has the usual things: TV, fridge, microwave, and other kitchen bits. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable rather than luxurious.

It’s a quiet spot, and you’re right down near the end of Cornwall. The hamlet is Poljigga, about two miles from Land's End itself. The famous Minack Theatre is a mile and a half away, up on the cliffs above Porthcurno beach. Both are worth seeing.

You're really close to some good beaches. Sennen Cove is two miles, good for families and surfing. Porthchapel is about 1.3 miles, Porthgwarra is 1.4. You can walk to the coastal path from here without much trouble.

Penzance is the nearest proper town, about seven and a half miles. That's where you'll find supermarkets, shops, and the train station. It's a working harbour too.

The facilities cover the basics: bedding and towels are included, there's a TV, and a patio or garden area. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. We do allow one well-behaved dog.
