This is Kitchen Cottage. It's in Mousehole, right in the middle of the village. The name comes from it being the old kitchen for the Lobster Pot Hotel next door. They've done it up.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and modern inside, open plan. There's a small enclosed patio out the front with a seat.
The location is the main thing. You're about fifty yards from the harbour wall and the beach. You can see the water from the front. The village shop and a couple of pubs are the same distance. You don't really need the car once you're here.
The stairs are a standard cottage staircase. They're fine, just mind your head.
You're on the South West Coast Path here. For a walk, you can head towards Lamorna one way or Penzance the other. Newlyn is about a mile and a half along the coast. Penzance is three miles, with the train station and bigger shops. St Ives is probably half an hour by car, depending on traffic. The National Trust has a lot of places nearby, like Trengwainton Garden.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
