Polgew Studio
Polgew Studio is in Marazion, on the front just across the road from the beach. It's a ground floor apartment, underneath our house. The views are straight across the bay to St Michael's Mount, and you can see right round to Mousehole and Penzance.
It sleeps three. One bedroom area, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Because it's on the ground floor and was adapted for accessibility, there are grab rails in the shower and no steps to get in.
The beach is about 200 metres away. It's a long, sandy beach, good for walking. The town has a few pubs and places to eat. The Godolphin Hotel opposite does food and drink with a view of the Mount.
Penzance is two miles along the coast road. That's where the main shops and the train station are. We can give you a lift to and from the station if you need it. The bus stop for the open-top bus around the coast is just up the road, about 150 metres away.
For a day out, St Michael's Mount is the obvious one. You can walk over at low tide. The fishing villages of Mousehole and Newlyn are a short drive. The Minack Theatre is about twenty minutes by car.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, wifi, TV, and an enclosed patio garden out the front to sit in. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you need it. No pets, sorry.
