Una Stannum 49 is a modern lodge on a site in Carbis Bay. It's part of a small collection of similar properties, so you're not completely isolated, but you have your own space and a private terrace.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well finished and has things like underfloor heating. The ground floor is all on one level.
Being an eco-lodge, it's designed to be efficient. It has a woodburning stove that works well. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine in a utility cupboard.
The main reason you'd book here is for the on-site facilities. There's an indoor swimming pool you can use. There's also a spa where you can book treatments, and a fitness suite. A restaurant on the resort serves meals, from breakfast to dinner. You can walk to it.
It's about a fifteen minute walk down to Carbis Bay beach from the lodge. The sand is lovely and it's a good, sheltered spot. St Ives is just over a mile along the coastal path, or a few minutes in the car. That's where you'll find most of the shops, art galleries, and more restaurants.
The lodge allows one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
For planning days out, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful, as is the Visit Cornwall site.
