Upper Deck

Upper Deck is a first-floor apartment in St Erth. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The village is handy. There's a shop and a 17th-century pub just up the road. The main road, the A30, is about a mile away so getting around is easy. The train station and a bus stop are close, which can be better than trying to park in St Ives in summer.

The apartment is on the first floor. The stairs up to it are a proper spiral staircase. They're steep and quite narrow. Just so you know.

For beaches, you're well placed. Hayle Towans is about a ten-minute drive. Gwithian is a bit further, maybe 17 minutes. Both are long, sandy beaches with dunes. Good for families and if you're into surfing or bodyboarding.

St Ives is about fifteen minutes by car. The Tate and the Barbara Hepworth garden are there. Mousehole is a similar drive, the other way past Penzance.

If the weather turns, Paradise Park in Hayle has an indoor play area and birds. There are also some good gardens nearby if that's your thing, like the National Trust's Trengwainton Garden.

There's a circular walk from the pub around St Erth Pits, which is a nature reserve. For longer walks, you're right on the edge of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coast path isn't far.

Included in the apartment: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are provided. There's a walk-in shower. No pets, sorry.
