Una Argentum 60

This is Una Argentum 60. It's a lodge on a site just outside Carbis Bay. It's detached and all on one level, so no stairs. The floor plan is open.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything's in good order. You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside.

Inside, it's straightforward. There's a woodburning stove, a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a patio with some garden furniture.

The main thing here is the site itself. It's got an indoor pool, a gym, and a spa with a sauna. There's a restaurant on site called the Una Kitchen that does local food. You don't have to use any of it, but it's there if you want to.

Location wise, you can walk to Carbis Bay beach in about fifteen minutes. It's a good, sandy beach. St Ives is a short drive away, or you can get the train from Carbis Bay station. The train is actually a good idea because parking in St Ives can be difficult.

For walks, the South West Coast Path is right there. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline around here. The Visit Cornwall site has information on other things to do.

If you want to go further, Penzance is about twenty minutes in the car. Land's End is about forty minutes. It's a good base for that part of Cornwall.
