Una Argentum 60
Una Argentum 60 is a lodge on a resort just outside Carbis Bay.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a five star place, so it's well appointed. The layout is all on one floor, which is good if stairs are a problem.
Being on the resort, you get access to the central building, the Carbis Club. That's where the indoor pool is, along with a gym, a sauna and a steam room. There's a cafe there too. The lodge itself has a patio area and parking right outside.
It's pet friendly. Up to two dogs are allowed.
From the resort, you can walk down to Carbis Bay beach. It takes about 15 minutes. St Ives is a short drive away or you can get the train, as the St Ives Bay Line runs right past. The station is a five minute walk from the resort.
For a day out, the Cornish coast path is on your doorstep. You can walk along it to Hayle and around to Godrevy. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here. Porthminster and Porthmeor beaches in St Ives are both good. For something different, the Tate St Ives is there if you like art.
In terms of facilities, the lodge has everything you'd expect: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them.
