Trevithick Lodge is on Tolroy Holiday Park in Hayle. It's a terraced lodge, so you've got neighbours either side. The lodge itself sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and everything works, but it's not luxurious.
You get a little patio area. The park has its own facilities: a heated indoor pool, a kids' play area, and sometimes evening entertainment. All that is shared with the other people on the park.
The location is handy. There's a local shop, a pub, and a restaurant about a hundred yards away. For a proper beach, you want the three miles of sand at Hayle Towans. It's about two miles from the lodge. The views over to St Ives are good from there.
St Ives itself is close. You can drive, but parking is difficult. It's easier to get the train from St Erth station. The line runs right along the coast past the estuary. St Ives has the harbour, lots of little shops, and the Tate gallery if you're into that.
For golf, there's West Cornwall Golf Club or Hayle Golf Club nearby. If you want to explore further, the whole of West Cornwall is within about thirty minutes. Penzance, Marazion and St Michael's Mount, even Land's End if you don't mind the drive.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a TV, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside the lodge. No pets, sorry.
