Merriview
Merriview is a bungalow in Balwest, Cornwall. It's semi-detached, joined onto our place but completely separate. You get your own front door.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, clean and warm.
The main thing is the view. From the living room and the kitchen you look straight out over the fields to the sea. You can see Marazion and St Michael's Mount from the window.
It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. The garden is a good size with a lawn and a sheltered patio round the back.
You're about two miles from Praa Sands beach. It's a big sandy beach, good for a walk or if you've got kids. The South West Coastal Path is nearby if you like walking.
The village of Ashton is close. There's a pub there that does food. There's also a small community shop that opens a few days a week for basics. For a proper supermarket you'd go to Helston, which is about five miles.
Porthleven is worth a visit. It's a fishing port with a harbour, some good places to eat, and it's about a ten minute drive. If you want to go further, St Ives, Penzance and the Lizard peninsula are all within half an hour.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
