Merriview is a bungalow in Balwest, Cornwall. It's semi-detached, one of a pair, but you get it all to yourselves. It's attached to our place next door, but separate.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. Everything is on one level, which people seem to like. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing is the view. From the living room and kitchen you can see right out to sea, across towards Marazion and St Michael's Mount. It's a proper panoramic view.
There's a good-sized garden out the back. It's enclosed, with lawn and a sheltered patio. Parking is right there.
You're about two miles from Praa Sands, which is a big, sandy beach. For a pint and some food, the pub in Ashton is two miles away. Helston is a five-mile drive for supermarkets and the like. Porthleven harbour, which has some good places to eat, is about the same distance.
If you walk, the South West Coastal Path is close by. You can be on it in no time. For history, the Cornish Mining Trails around here are interesting. National Trust Cornwall has good info on local walks and sites. So does Cornwall Council's coastal path page.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, TV, WiFi. All bedding and towels are included. The place is traditionally furnished, with an ornamental fireplace. It's a no pets property.
