Trequean Barn
Trequean Barn is a converted barn at Rinsey Croft, near Porthleven. It’s for two people. You get outstanding views over Mount's Bay from here. It's a mile or so back from the coast, so you’re up high, looking out.
It’s a 5 Star place, which means it’s been done to a high standard. The main room is open plan, with a high ceiling and a big wood burner. The whole south wall is glass, with doors out to the patio. The patio’s large, with a fire pit and seating. The bedroom has a super king size bed and windows on two sides. The shower room has a large walk-in shower. It’s all on the ground floor and the entrance is wheelchair accessible.
You’ve got a full kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. TV, WiFi, bedding and towels are all included. There’s parking right there.
The location is quiet. Porthleven is about three miles away. It’s a proper working harbour with some good places to eat. That’s your nearest beach too. When the tide’s out, you can walk for miles along the sand towards Loe Bar. The Penrose Estate is there for walking.
Within half an hour you can get to Helston, the Lizard peninsula with Kynance Cove, and Marazion for St Michael’s Mount. Penzance is about twenty minutes. If you ride, there’s livery and a sand school on site, but you need to arrange that directly with the owners.
This barn is one of two properties here. You can book it together with Trequean Cottage next door if you’re a group.
