The Hayloft is near Godolphin Cross. It's a converted barn on a small farm, with about ten acres of land. There are pigs and ducks, and you can help collect eggs if you want.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's been done up well. There are high ceilings, underfloor heating, and the kitchen has granite worktop. It feels modern but in a solid sort of way.
The garden is private. There's parking, and space for bikes or surfboards. You can charge an electric car.
The farm borders the Godolphin estate. It's National Trust land and good for walks. If you watched Poldark, you'll recognise the house.
Helston is about five miles away. It's a town with shops and a museum. Porthleven harbour is nearby, about a fifteen minute drive. It's a nice place for a walk and an ice cream.
The coast is ten to fifteen minutes away by car. Praa Sands and Marazion are both within half an hour. St Michael's Mount is at Marazion. You can walk out to it at low tide.
For gardens, Trebah and Glendurgan are near Falmouth, about a half hour drive. Penzance is twenty minutes the other way.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust Cornwall site is useful, as is the official Cornwall tourism website.
