The Hayloft

The Hayloft is in Godolphin Cross, Cornwall. It's on a small farm with about ten acres of land. We have pigs and ducks. You can help collect the eggs if you like.

It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. One bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating which means it's quite nicely done up. Underfloor heating, oak floors, leather sofas. The kitchen has a granite worktop. It's open plan.

The stairs are steep. It's a converted barn, so they go straight up.

You're right on the edge of the National Trust Godolphin Estate. Good for walks. If you've seen Poldark, some of it was filmed at Godolphin House.

Helston is about five miles away. That's where the Flora Day dance happens. There's a museum and Flambards theme park. Porthleven harbour is next along, about six miles. People crab off the quay there. The surf beach is there too, but it's for experts, not beginners.

Penzance is ten miles. From there you can get to Marazion and St Michael's Mount when the tide is out.

For gardens, Trebah and Glendurgan are near Falmouth, about eighteen miles. Falmouth itself has the maritime museum and Pendennis Castle. Truro is about twenty three miles for the cathedral and shops.

There's parking here. You can store bikes or surfboards. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. We have an electric vehicle charger. There's a patio and garden with a barbecue. Sorry, no pets.
