Chywood Barn
This is Chywood Barn in Sithney. It's a converted granite stable on the farm where we live. It's completely detached and you get your own garden, which is enclosed. Very private.
It sleeps two. One big bedroom upstairs that's open to the living area below, so it feels quite spacious. The ceiling is high and beamed. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen is full-sized. Bathroom is up there too.
The place is down a private lane in a valley. It's quiet. You'll see our ducks on the lake. We're on hand in the farmhouse if you need anything, but you won't see us otherwise.
It's about three miles from Helston, which has shops and supermarkets. Porthleven harbour is about the same distance the other way. Good for a walk and a meal. You're right between coasts here, so you can get to the south or north coast quite easily.
The facilities are all there. Dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
