Swallows Barn
Swallows Barn is in Godolphin Cross, near Helston. It's one of three cottages around an old farmyard, but you've got your own garden. It's very quiet and rural, with views over fields.
It's modern inside but built from old granite. There's an open-plan living area with the kitchen and dining space, then a few steps up to the sofa area. Doors lead straight out to the garden.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have kids. There's a shared play area for children on site.
The local pub is about three miles away in Godolphin Cross. The shop is a bit further. You'll need a car.
The coast is about a fifteen minute drive. Gwithian beach has great sand for families. To the south, Prussia Cove is rocky and good for exploring. Penzance, St Ives, and The Lizard are all within a twenty minute drive.
Godolphin House is just down the road. It's a National Trust place with a big garden and a lot of history. National Trust Godolphin. For walks and the coastline, the South West Coast Path website is very useful.
Facilities: There's parking right outside. You've got a dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. No pets allowed.
