Wheal Metal Lodge
Wheal Metal Lodge is in Sithney, which is a few miles inland from Helston. It's a detached lodge, Scandinavian style. Sleeps two people. There are two bedrooms but they're small doubles, really just a good single each. One bathroom with a shower.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable, modern, and well looked after. It feels clean and light.
The garden is enclosed and private. There's a patio with a table and a BBQ. You can park right next to it. There's an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included.
Location wise, you're about a 20 minute drive from a lot of coast. To the south, you've got the Helford River and those quiet creeks. Loe Bar and Porthleven are close. To the north, you can get to the surfing beaches around Praa Sands and Godrevy in under half an hour. Penzance is about six miles away. It has a promenade, the Jubilee Pool lido, shops.
The area was part of the old Godolphin Estate. There's good walking right from the door through the lanes and fields. For organised walks, the South West Coast Path is a short drive away.
