Cornish Billys Barn is in Cockwells, about a ten minute drive from Penzance. It's a barn conversion down a country lane. It's new and done up to a high standard. Sleeps two.
It's one bedroom with an en-suite shower. The shower is one of those rainfall ones. The main space is open plan, with a kitchen, dining area, and living room. It's all very light. The wood burner works well.
The kitchen is proper, with a range oven, dishwasher, and good space. You can cook in there. The private courtyard out the back gets the sun in the evening.
There's a local pub about a fifteen minute walk away, down the hill. Marazion is the nearest proper town, about three miles. That's where you'll find St Michael's Mount. On a clear day you can just about see it from the patio doors.
From there, you're well placed for the coast. Penzance has the harbour and Chapel Street. Newlyn is the fishing port next door. For beaches and walking, you've got the whole of Mount's Bay right there.
Further afield, St Ives is about a thirty minute drive. Lands End is about twenty five minutes. The Lizard peninsula is about forty five minutes.
Facilities: parking for one car, enclosed courtyard, washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We accept up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
