Pentreath 4 is in Carbis Bay. It's one of a few modern houses on the Tregenna Castle estate. You have your own patio and there's a shared green area for kids.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The layout is over three floors, so the stairs are something to be aware of.
The top floor is the master bedroom. The ceiling slopes with the roof, but there's plenty of headroom in the middle of the room.
The living space is all open plan downstairs. There's a large smart TV with the usual streaming services and a Sonos speaker you can connect to.
You don't really need a car. The train station is about half a mile away and the bus routes are good. The open-top bus is a decent way to see the coast. It's a 15-20 minute walk down into St Ives itself for the Tate, shops, and places to eat.
The nearest beach is Porthminster, about a 15 minute walk. It's a flat, sandy beach and fairly sheltered. You can see Godrevy Lighthouse from there.
For a bigger town, Penzance is about a 20 minute drive. The harbour is busy and St Michael's Mount is worth seeing. Mousehole is a pretty village nearby.
Facilities: it has parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
