Driftwood is a ground floor flat in St Ives, in the part they call Downalong. It's near The Island. It's for two people, so just one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but it's not a hotel.
You're right in the middle of things. You can walk to the harbour, the shops, and Porthgwidden beach in a few minutes. The lanes are narrow and can be busy. If you want total peace and quiet, this might not be it. But if you want to step out the door and be in the thick of it, it's good.
The flat itself is all on one level. The main room is open plan. There's a washing machine. WiFi is included. We let you bring up to two dogs.
St Ives is full of cafes and restaurants, especially near the water. The Tate St Ives is here, and the Barbara Hepworth Museum. In September there's a festival with music and art. It gets busy.
For a good day out, you can get the coastal train to St Erth. It's a lovely ride. By car, Land's End is about forty minutes. St Michael's Mount at Marazion is about half an hour. The South West Coast Path is right there if you want to walk. The wider area has gardens like Trebah and cycling trails.
