Driftwood
This is Driftwood. It's a one-bedroom cottage in St Ives, sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's down in Downalong, on the way to The Island. You step straight out into those little cobbled lanes. The harbour, beaches, shops, and galleries are all a few minutes' walk away. It's a ground floor place, which is handy.
The bed is a double. There's one bathroom, with a shower. It's open plan inside. There's a TV, wifi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
It's fine for pets. Up to two dogs are allowed.
You're right in the middle of it. Cafes and restaurants are everywhere, lots right on the waterfront. The light here is famous, so it's full of artists. The Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum are here. The September festival has lots on.
For getting around, the coastal train to St Erth is good. It goes past the Hayle estuary and the beaches.
Within about half an hour's drive, you can get to a lot. That includes Land's End, Sennen Cove, and Marazion for St Michael's Mount. The drive over to Zennor and Pendeen is across the moorland. The South West Coast Path is right there if you want a walk.
