Studio Sea Urchin is in Carbis Bay. It's basically one big room on the ground floor, for two people. There's a separate bathroom with a shower.
You get to it down a 200 yard unmade lane, so it's quiet. You won't see cars, just the occasional walker on the coast path. The view is the main thing. You look straight out over Porth Kidney Sands and the sea, all the way to Godrevy lighthouse.
It's a 4 Star apartment, so it's comfortable and well-kept. Everything's included: bed linen, towels, electricity, WiFi. There's a TV, on-site parking, and a small private patio area.
You share the drive and a communal garden with a few other apartments. The garden has paths, a pond, and a bridge. It's a nice spot to sit with that view.
The beach is about half a mile's walk downhill. For shops and a restaurant, you're looking at a quarter to half a mile. The nearest pub is a mile away.
St Ives is either a half hour walk along the coast path, or five minutes on the train. The station is at Carbis Bay beach. St Ives has the Tate, the Barbara Hepworth Museum, and all the shops and cafes you'd expect.
If you want to drive, the A30 is nearby. You can get to Penzance, St Michael's Mount, or the surfing beaches at Sennen Cove in under 30 minutes.
