Studio Sea Urchin
Studio Sea Urchin is in Carbis Bay, above Hawkes Point. It's a ground floor studio apartment for two people. You get a private parking space.
The location is the main thing. You look straight out over Porth Kidney sands and St Ives Bay. You can see Godrevy Lighthouse. There is no road, just the coastal path, so it’s quiet. You hear the sea.
It’s a 4 Star place. It’s a studio, so everything is in one open room. The bed, kitchen area, and sitting space. The bathroom is separate. The shower is good.
There’s a shared garden with a pond and paths. You can sit out there and look at the view. The lane down to it is unmade, about 200 yards long. It’s fine for cars.
To get to St Ives, you can walk along the coastal path. That takes about half an hour. Or you can get the train from Carbis Bay station, which is a few minutes down the hill. That takes five minutes. St Ives has the Tate, the harbour, shops, and plenty of places to eat.
Locally, Carbis Bay beach is a short walk. The sand is very good. You often see dolphins and seals from the cliffs. For a bigger beach, the dunes at Hayle are a drive or a longer walk.
If you want to explore, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the surfing at Sennen Cove are all within about 30 minutes by car.
It has WiFi, TV, bedding and towels are included. There's a local shop and a pub a short walk away. No pets allowed.
