Una Argentum 59
Una Argentum 59 is on the Una resort near Carbis Bay. It’s a detached bungalow, so everything’s on one level. We’ve had guests with limited mobility say it worked well for them.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a wet room. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s modern and well-equipped. There's underfloor heating and a woodburner, which takes the edge off a damp Cornish day.
The layout is open plan. Kitchen, living area, dining table, all in one space. There’s a patio door that opens onto your own patio area. The garden beyond that is shared with the other bungalows. Facilities on the resort include indoor and outdoor heated pools, a gym, a sauna, and a cafe and restaurant.
The property is about a 15 minute walk down the hill to Carbis Bay beach. It’s a lovely, sandy beach. To get into St Ives itself, it’s a short drive or you can catch the train from Carbis Bay station. The St Ives branch line is scenic.
A good local pub is The Halsetown Inn, about a five minute drive. The South West Coast Path is right there for walking. You’re close to the Trengwainton Garden and about a 30 minute drive from The Minack Theatre.
