Una Argentum 61 is a lodge in Carbis Bay. It's part of a holiday resort. The set-up is modern, and everything is on one level. That works well if stairs are a problem, or if you've got small kids. You can bring one dog.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and kept to a high standard.
The lodge itself has a patio area, a wood-burning stove, parking right outside, and all the usual things like a dishwasher and WiFi. Being on the resort, you also get access to the shared facilities. There's an indoor heated pool, a spa, a gym, and a restaurant that does wood-fired pizzas.
Location is the main thing. You can walk to Carbis Bay beach in about fifteen minutes. It's a nice, sheltered beach. St Ives is a five-minute drive down the road. You can park at the big park-and-ride and get the train in, which is easier than trying to find a space in the town.
For walking, the South West Coast Path is right there. For a day out, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful, or you can look at Cornwall Council's countryside access site. The St Ives to Carbis Bay area is well served.
The rest of West Cornwall is within thirty minutes or so. You can get to Penzance, Marazion for St Michael's Mount, and the surf at Gwithian or Porthmeor quite easily.
We provide bed linen. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The resort is busy in school holidays, but it's quieter outside of those times.
