Mordros

Mordros is a house in Carbis Bay. It's detached and overlooks the bay. You get those sea views people come for.

It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.

The layout is a bit different. The main living room and kitchen are upstairs to make the most of the view. Two bedrooms are on a sort of mezzanine floor in between, and the other two are downstairs. There's a balcony off the living room. The garden is split-level, a bit sloped, with a sheltered patio bit.

You can walk down to Carbis Bay beach from the house. It's a short path. It's a nice, big sandy beach with a shop and a café. It gets a Blue Flag. The path goes through the beach car park, then you're straight on the sand. It's close enough that you can pop back easily.

St Ives is about a mile and a half along the coast. You can drive, or you can get the train from Carbis Bay station, which is a short walk away. The St Ives branch line is scenic. The town has the Tate gallery, the harbour, shops, and several beaches.

Within half an hour's drive you've got places like Penzance, the Minack Theatre, and St Michael's Mount. The whole of West Cornwall is accessible from here.

For facilities: it's got WiFi, parking, and central heating. No pets, sorry.
