Heatherstone
Heatherstone is in Illogan, which is between Camborne and Redruth. It's a detached bungalow, so all on one level. It's on a quiet residential street but you'd never know it from the garden, it's very private.
The bungalow sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's roomy and modern, but not flashy. It feels like a proper family home.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio with furniture and a lawn. It gets the sun in the evening. The gates at the front are large and you can easily fit five cars on the drive.
It's about a ten minute drive to the coast. Portreath and Porthtowan are the closest beaches. Portreath is good for families, it's got a wide beach and a cafe. Porthtowan is a bit more for surf.
Right on the doorstep is Tehidy Country Park. It's 250 acres of woods. You can walk for hours. There's a golf course there too.
You're well placed here to get to both coasts. St Ives is about a twenty-five minute drive. You can get the train from St Erth if you'd rather avoid the car parks. The Hayle estuary is good for birdwatching. Godrevy lighthouse is worth a visit.
For facilities, it's got what you'd need: wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to four dogs.
