Heatherstone
Heatherstone is a detached house in Illogan. It's in a quiet residential spot behind two big gates, so there's plenty of privacy. You can park at least five cars.
The house sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's a family house, so there's space to spread out.
The back garden is enclosed. There's a patio with furniture if you want to eat outside.
Inside, the living room has a large TV and patio doors to the garden. The kitchen has what you need. The dining area is in the conservatory, which also leads to the garden.
You're about a mile from a shop and a pub. The coast is close. Portreath beach is two miles away. It's good for families, with sand, a harbour, a couple of pubs and some shops. Porthtowan is also nearby.
For walking, you're right next to Tehidy Country Park. It's over 250 acres of woods and paths. You can get onto the coastal path from there easily. Cyclists might know the Coast to Coast trail, which runs from Portreath down to Devoran.
Further afield, you can drive to St Ives in under half an hour. The Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum are there. You can also get the scenic train from St Erth.Heading south, the Godrevy lighthouse area near Gwithian is about a 20-minute drive. You sometimes see seals and dolphins from there.
For facilities, it's got the usual: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to four dogs.
