This is Willow. It's a cottage in Mawla, near Redruth. It's quiet, just a few other cottages around, and we live on site in the main house.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-kept. You can bring one dog.
The layout is open plan downstairs. There's a patio with a table and chairs out the front, and you can use the shared lawn. The owners run a games room with a pool table and table tennis, which is handy if the weather turns.
You're well placed for the north coast. Portreath beach is about ten minutes by car, Porthtowan about fifteen. Both are good for surfing. For walking, the National Trust coastal path is very close, and the Mineral Tramway trail runs right past the cottage if you fancy a cycle. You can hire bikes locally.
St Ives is a bit further, maybe half an hour's drive. You can also get the train from St Erth, which stops right along the coast. Hayle Towans has a huge beach and sand dunes, and from there you can walk up to Godrevy lighthouse.
Facilities wise, it's all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included.
If you're planning trips, the Cornwall Council outdoors site has good maps and walking information.
