Chalet 2
This is Chalet 2. It's one of ten bungalows here on the site in Mount Hawke. They're all in about eight acres of woodland. This one is single-storey, which is good if you don't want stairs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional. The living area is open plan. There's a patio with a table and chairs. You can see the woods from there.
The site is wheelchair friendly at the entrance, and everything's on the ground floor. We've got a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring two dogs. Parking is right outside.
The village shop is five minutes walk. The pub is about 130 yards away, they do food. For the beach, Porthtowan is the closest, about a mile and a half down the lane. It's a good surf beach. Portreath and Perranporth are a bit further, maybe a ten or fifteen minute drive.
St Agnes is ten minutes by car. There are cafes and a few shops there. Truro is about twenty minutes away if you need a big supermarket or want to see the cathedral.
For walks, you're on the edge of the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The South West Coast Path is easily reached. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline nearby.
Wi-Fi works. There's a TV. It's a straightforward place to stay.
