The Annex At Tenniside

The Annex is in Perranporth, which is on the north coast. It's a ground floor place, attached to the main house, but you've got your own entrance and it's all private. Sleeps five. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. A four-star rating, so it's comfortable and well-fitted. One dog is allowed.

The bit it's in is quiet. You're right by a little stream and some woods. You can hear the water from the garden. The garden is enclosed, private, and gets the sun. There's a hammock out there if you fancy it. The owner lives next door and sometimes sells plants from a stall outside, but they leave you to it.

It's about a ten minute walk to the beach from here. Perranporth beach is big, three miles of sand. Good for surfing, swimming, just walking. There's a tidal pool at Chapel Rock.

Right outside the property, if you turn right, there's a tennis club. You can pay to use the courts. Further along that path there's a play area for kids, with basketball and football. There's also a duck pond with benches, it's a nice spot.

In the village there are shops, a few pubs, cafes, and takeaways. The usual seaside stuff.

For walking, you can get straight onto the coastal path from the beach. It leads to the Penhale sand dunes, which are a protected area. You can drive to Newquay in about twenty minutes. Truro is about half an hour.

The place has a washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on the drive right outside.
