Dover Row Cottage is a semi-detached place in Goonhavern, attached to our house. You reach it down a private unmade lane. It's very quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings and a patio with a barbecue. The games room is in the garage, good for kids if the weather's bad. All bedding and towels are included.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's on-site parking.
The local pub is half a mile away, it's walkable. They do food. The nearest shop is about a mile away in the village.
You're about five minutes in the car from Perranporth beach. Holywell Bay is similar, maybe ten minutes. Good for surfing if that's your thing. Newquay is 15 minutes away if you want the town and its beaches.
Further afield, you can get to Truro in 20 minutes. It's good for shopping. St Ives and Falmouth are both about 40 minutes, depending on traffic. The National Trust Cornwall page is useful for places like Godrevy or the Lizard. The Cornwall Council site has practical info.
