Fistral Cottage
Fistral Cottage is one of two converted barns on this small site in Goonhavern. It's a quiet spot, about a ten minute drive from the coast.
The cottage sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own ensuite shower rooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. You'll get the garden area to yourselves, which gets the sun in the afternoon.
The site has shared facilities. There's an outdoor heated swimming pool open in the season. It's all the same depth, so just be aware of that if you've got little ones. There's also some shared play equipment and a picnic area. A manager lives on site and is around most days if you need anything.
For the beach, Perranporth is the closest. It's about three miles. It's a huge sandy beach, good for surfing or just a long walk. The beach pub there is right on the sand. Newquay is about fifteen minutes by car. That's where Fistral Beach is, if you want to watch the surf competitions.
In terms of things to do, the Eden Project is about half an hour's drive. Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium are in Newquay itself. For walking, the South West Coast Path is easily accessible from several points along this stretch.
What's here: There's a washing machine, Wi-Fi, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
