The Salt House is in Newquay, about five minutes' walk from the centre. It's a tall townhouse, end of terrace. Sleeps twelve in six bedrooms, with three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and in good order.
There's a small enclosed courtyard out the back with a table, chairs, and a barbecue. Useful if you want to eat outside without going far.
You're right in town. Shops, pubs, restaurants, and takeaways are all a couple of minutes' walk away. For beaches, Fistral is the big one nearby, less than a mile. You can get straight onto the coastal path from the house and walk out towards Pentire headland. The views from there are very good.
Inside, it's set up for groups and families. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
You can bring two dogs. The entrance is step-free and wheelchair accessible, but it's a townhouse so there are stairs inside.
For planning days out, the National Trust Cornwall site is useful. So is the official Visit Cornwall page. The South West Coast Path site has all the walking details.
