Penrose Lodge is up by Newquay. It's a modern timber lodge, detached. You get a good view down to Porth beach from the main living area and the balcony.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished and everything should work as it should.
The main living space is open plan with a lot of glass, so it's light. There's a full length balcony with a glass railing off it. You can sit out there. The balcony looks over the shared grounds and the tennis court, which you can use.
Both bedrooms are a good size. One thing to note: the twin bedroom is on a lower level. You get to it by a spiral staircase inside the lodge. It's quite narrow.
The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
You're a couple of miles from Porth beach and Watergate Bay. Both are sandy and usually have lifeguards in season. Watergate Bay has a few places to eat. Newquay town centre is about ten minutes drive for shops and pubs.
If you're looking for things to do, the National Trust in Cornwall looks after a lot of the coast. For walking routes and park information, Cornwall National Landscape is useful.
No pets, sorry.
