1 Cribbar is a ground-floor flat in that new block overlooking Fistral Beach. It's a one-bedroom place for two people, and you can bring two dogs.
It's got a five-star rating because it's new and everything works properly. The shower is good, there's underfloor heating, and you get your own little courtyard out the back. The kitchen has a dishwasher and granite worktops, which is handy. Inside, it's laid out well and feels spacious.
For the building itself, there's a lift from the secure underground car park up to the flats. There's a surf wash-down area and storage for boards. It's all key fob entry.
The location is the main thing. You're right opposite Fistral. The beach path is basically at the end of the road, and Newquay Golf Course is just there. You can walk into the town centre for shops and places to eat, though it's a bit of a hill coming back.
If you're here to surf, you're sorted. The beach is right there and there's a surf school on-site. If you're not, the South West Coast Path runs past for walks. The Gannel Estuary is nice for a quieter wander. For other things to do, the National Trust has several places nearby, like Trerice or the coast around Bedruthan Steps, which are about a 20-minute drive.
It's set up for a couple, but they've also got things like a travel cot, highchair, and baby bath if you're bringing a small child. There are some board games and a games console too.
