Barn Cottage

Barn Cottage is in St Mawgan, Cornwall. It's a detached barn conversion, so you're on your own, not attached to anything else. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps if you've got a full house. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable.

The place is about a 25 minute walk from Mawgan Porth beach. It's a family friendly beach, good for surfing. The walk there is nice, through the lanes.

In the village, there's a shop, a tea room, and a pub with a garden. The pub is well known. There's also a Japanese garden with a Bonsai tree nursery if that's your sort of thing.

Newquay is a 15 minute drive. That's where the main beaches and town are. Padstow is about the same drive the other way, where you'll find Rick Stein's restaurant among others.

For other days out, the South West Coast Path is right there for walking. The Eden Project is about a 20 minute drive. Horse riding is available locally. There's a golf course nearby too.

For families, we've put in things like a stairgate, highchair, cot, and bunk beds. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings, and a patio with a BBQ. The garden is enclosed. Parking is on site.

You can bring up to two dogs. For Christmas bookings, we put up a tree and decorations, and leave a festive welcome pack.
