Littlewood
Littlewood is on St Columb Road. It's a big detached house that sleeps eleven. That's five bedrooms, three bathrooms. One of them is on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
There is a local history to it, if you're interested. It was built by the first winners of the Littlewoods football pools. People like Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart used to stay here in the 60s. But now it's just a holiday house.
The main thing is the location. You're 7 miles from both the north and south coasts. The A30 is two minutes away, so you can get anywhere in Cornwall without too much hassle. You can walk to St Columb Road station and get a train to Newquay or Par.
Local facilities: there's a shop about 100 yards away. A pub is a mile and a half, a restaurant half a mile.
Newquay is about seven miles. Padstow is a bit further. The Camel Trail cycle path starts near there. The south coast, like Charlestown with its tall ships, is also about seven miles. Truro, Fowey, and St Austell are all within a half hour drive.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a stairgate if you need them. Parking is on site.
