It's called Littlewood. It's a detached house near St Columb Road, just off the A30. That means you're basically in the middle of Cornwall, about seven miles from each coast. It's a good spot to get to most places without too much driving.
It sleeps eleven. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's big and there's plenty of space for a family group. The stairs are fine.
The house has a bit of a history. It was built by the first winners of the Littlewoods football pools. Back in the 60s and 70s, it was used as a private spot for musicians to get together, so it's seen a few famous faces pass through over the years.
You can walk to the village shop. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away. There's a train station on the road that goes to Newquay or Par, which is handy if you don't want to drive everywhere.
Newquay is about seven miles. That's where the main beaches and surf schools are. Padstow is a bit further, maybe half an hour's drive. It's worth a trip for the harbour and the Camel Trail cycle path.
The south coast is about the same distance the other way. Charlestown is interesting, it's a World Heritage harbour used in a lot of films. Truro, Fowey, and St Austell are all within a half hour drive too.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. There's parking on site. WiFi. We include bedding and towels. You can bring up to two dogs.
