Penty-Lowarth

Penty-Lowarth is a single-storey cottage, detached. It's in our own gardens, at the farm in Ruthvoes. That's inland, sort of midway between the north and south coasts.

It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. All on the same level. The layout is open-plan. There's a wood burner for chilly evenings, and internet access.

The place is rated 4 Star, so things are in good order. It's got a dishwasher, and a washing machine in the cupboard. Bedding and towels are there. Parking is right outside.

We're happy for you to bring your dogs, up to two. There's a private, enclosed patio area for them outside the main door.

You're welcome to walk through our wider gardens. There are fish ponds you can look at and feed. The garden is mature, so it feels private and settled.

It's a quiet, rural spot. The nearest shop, pub, and a restaurant are about a mile and a half away in St Columb Major.

For getting out, you're fairly central. Padstow and Watergate Bay on the north coast are about twenty minutes by car. The south coast, with places like the National Trust's Lanhydrock, is about half an hour. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are also within half an hour's drive.

The Camel Trail for cycling is easily reached at Wadebridge. Lots of the north coast beaches are dog-friendly, like Mawgan Porth.
