The Swallows is a detached cottage in the hamlet of Enniscaven. It's next to our house, but you've got your own place and a private, enclosed garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own ensuite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about right. It's comfortable and clean. There are some low beams inside, so watch your head. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase.
You get the whole garden to yourselves. There's also access to our field next door, which is about a quarter of an acre. We have two miniature ponies in the adjacent field.
It's quiet here. The nearest shop and pub are in Roche, about a mile and a half away. There's a fish and chip shop there too. For walking and cycling, Goss Moor is right on the doorstep. It's a National Nature Reserve.
You're fairly central for getting around Cornwall. The Eden Project is about a 20 minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are maybe 25 minutes. The coast at St Austell Bay, like Charlestown, is roughly 15 minutes away.
For facilities: it has WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
