Tanglewood is in Stenalees. That's near St Austell, inland a bit. It's a detached house, not a cottage. You can see fields from the garden.
It sleeps seven people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One is an en-suite shower room off the main bedroom. The other has a bath and a separate shower. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious.
The stairs are worth mentioning. They're a bit steep and the handrail is on the open side. Just take care on them.
There's a good-sized kitchen with a table, and a utility room with the washing machine. The living room is through there. The conservatory leads out to the garden. We've left a BBQ out there if you want to use it.
You're about a twenty minute drive from the south coast. Carlyon Bay is probably the closest beach for a proper swim. Fowey is lovely for a wander and something to eat. Looe and Polperro are a bit further, maybe half an hour. They're proper old fishing towns.
The Eden Project is very close, about ten minutes in the car. It's worth a visit. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about twenty five minutes away. Bodmin Moor is about eight miles for walking.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair. WiFi is there. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking for two cars on the drive.
