Tanglewood
Tanglewood is in Stenalees. It's a few miles outside St Austell. What you've got here is a family house, sleeps seven, in a village.
It's a standard three star place. That means it's clean and worked in but you're not getting a hotel finish. There are four bedrooms upstairs and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a bath and a separate shower, the other is an ensuite shower room. The bedrooms are two doubles, one bunk room, and one single. It's flexible.
Downstairs there's a decent kitchen-diner, a living room, and a conservatory that opens onto the garden. The garden has a patio and some outdoor furniture. Views are over the fields. There's a utility room with the washing machine, which is handy.
You can bring one dog. Facilities include a cot and highchair, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive.
Location wise, you're inland here. The nearest proper beach is probably at Carlyon Bay, about a 20 minute drive. For a day out, Fowey and Looe are both roughly half an hour by car. They're the classic harbour towns with shops and pubs.
The main thing nearby is the Eden Project, which is just over three miles away. It takes about ten minutes to drive there. It's worth seeing. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about 25 minutes away. Bodmin Moor is about eight miles north if you want some open space for walking.
