Forest Glade Lodge is on a holiday park near Lanlivery. It's not a big, noisy one. It's small and family-run. The lodge is detached and you get your own bit of decking out the front.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One has a king size bed and its own shower room. The other has twin beds. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well kept. It's all on one level and the door is wide, so it's suitable if you have mobility issues or use a wheelchair.
The living area is open plan with the kitchen. There's a big TV. The kitchen has what you need. Washing machine is handy. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair if you're bringing little ones.
There's a pub that does food about half a mile down the lane. The nearest shop for a big shop is about seven miles away in St Austell or Lostwithiel.
You're quite central here. Fowey is about six miles. It's a proper old fishing port, nice for a wander and a pasty. The Eden Project is about a fifteen minute drive. You need to book for that. Eden Project.
The south coast beaches, like Polkerris or Par Sands, are within a twenty minute drive. For the north coast surfing beaches, you're looking at about forty minutes in the car.
If you like walking, the Bodmin Moor is right on your doorstep. National Trust Bodmin Moor has some good routes. Lanhydrock House is a National Trust property about twenty minutes away. Lanhydrock.
