Florin Cottage
Florin Cottage is in Lerryn, Cornwall. It's a small, end-of-terrace cottage right by the river.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It has a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. Everything works. You can bring one dog.
The main thing is the location. Your back gate opens onto a path that leads straight down to the River Lerryn. You can be on the water in a minute. People do kayak from there, and you can fish. It's very quiet.
The cottage has a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a small patio with a table, and WiFi. There's a washing machine. Bedding is included.
In the village, there's a shop and a pub, The Ship Inn, which does food. It's a five-minute walk.
For the coast, Polperro is about a 15-minute drive. Looe is about 20 minutes. Fowey is very close, maybe 10 minutes by car. You can get the ferry from Fowey over to Polruan. The South West Coast Path runs through there.
If you want a big day out, the Eden Project is roughly half an hour away. The National Trust has lots of properties nearby like Lanhydrock.
