Florin Cottage is in the village of Lerryn in Cornwall. It's a two bedroom place that sleeps four.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean, but it's not high-spec. The main thing is the location. It's right in the village, a couple of minutes' walk from the river. You can see the water from the front.
There's one bathroom with a shower. The living area is open plan, with a woodburning stove. You get a patio and a bit of garden to yourselves. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding is included. We allow one dog.
Lerryn itself is very quiet. It's not a resort, it's just a small village on the river. The Ship Inn is the local pub, it's about a three minute walk. They do food.
If you like being on the water, this is a good spot. You can put a kayak or a paddleboard in on the river here. It's tidal, so check the times. People fish here too, for salmon and trout.
The footpaths are the main attraction for walking. You can follow the riverbank or go through the woods. It's very green.
For shops and a bigger choice of places to eat, you'd drive to Fowey. It's about four miles if you take the ferry at Bodinnick, or about ten miles by road all the way round. Looe and Polperro are within half an hour.
The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are also about a 30 minute drive from here.
