This is Middle Deck. It's one of the apartments in the Square Rig building, right on the river in Fowey. You can see the water from the balcony.
It's for four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-fitted. Kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
The balcony is good. You can sit out there with a drink. It looks straight out over the river. You'll see the boats coming and going.
Fowey itself is all downhill from the apartment, a five minute walk. Everything is there: shops, pubs, places to eat. It's an old town, narrow streets. There are ferries that cross the river to Bodinnick and Polruan.
The beach at Readymoney Cove is about a twenty minute walk. It's sandy when the tide's out. For a longer stretch, Polkerris beach is a short drive, or you can head towards Par Sands.
If you want to get on the water, there are boat trips from the town quay. You might see seals. You can also walk. The Hall Walk on the other side of the river is very good. It's a circular route you can do with the ferry.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got a few big places. The Eden Project is one. The Lanhydrock house and gardens is another. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are that way too. All are well signposted.
