River Lodge
River Lodge is in Polperro. It's a one bedroom, detached lodge, so there's no one next door. It sleeps two, and you can bring one dog.
The main thing is the outside space. You've got a terrace right by the river, which is good for sitting out. There's also a large balcony off the living room that looks over the garden. It feels very quiet there.
Polperro village centre is a few minutes' walk away. It's a proper old fishing village with narrow streets. There's a working harbour, pubs, cafes, and shops selling fish. Your closest pub and restaurant is about 200 yards away. A small shop is half a mile.
The lodge has a 4 Star rating. It's well equipped. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included.
For a sandy beach, Looe is a short drive away. The South West Coast Path is nearby for walking. A lot of that coastline is looked after by the National Trust.
Within half an hour you can drive to the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, or Fowey. Bodmin Moor is inland if you want a change from the coast.
