River Lodge is in Polperro, down a quiet lane. It's detached, so you're on your own. You can park right outside.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-finished. The bathroom is en-suite.
There's a terrace that runs alongside the river. You can sit out there. There's also a big balcony off the living room that looks over the garden. It's a good spot.
The Crumplehorn pub and restaurant is about 200 yards away. There's a local shop half a mile walk. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Looe.
Polperro harbour is a few minutes' walk. The lanes are narrow and twisty. There are a few pubs, cafes, and shops selling local stuff down there.
Within about half an hour's drive, you've got Looe for its beach, Fowey across the river for the town and Daphne Du Maurier links, and the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. The coastal path is accessible nearby, and a lot of it is National Trust land.
For facilities: there's parking, a garden, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
