This is Garden Cottage in Porthallow. It's a detached place, so no one's sharing a wall with you. The garden and patio are yours.
The cottage sleeps three. Two bedrooms downstairs, one bathroom, central heating. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's recently been refurbished and everything works. The kitchen is open plan.
The best thing is the location. It's quiet here. You're up the hill from Porthallow beach, so you get a view of the sea. You can walk down to the cove in a few minutes. It's proper Cornish coast, so it's shingle, not sand. Good for fishing from the shore.
You can join the coastal path right there. It's about six miles to the Helford Passage if you want a long walk. For a shorter one, the path north towards Coverack is good.
Within about half an hour's drive you've got St Keverne for shops and a pub. The Lizard point is about twenty minutes south. Falmouth is thirty minutes away over the bridge if you need a bigger town or the Maritime Museum. The National Trust's Glendurgan Garden is over that way too, near Mawnan Smith.
Facilities wise: it's all included. Bedding, towels, wifi, TV, washing machine. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. There's a BBQ. No pets.
