2 Mount Pleasant is in Looe. It’s a townhouse on the east side of the river, looking straight across at the harbour town. The view is the main thing. You can sit with a drink and watch the boats.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The place is clean and well-kept, more practical than luxurious. The stairs are typical for a townhouse, a bit steeper than a modern home.
Looe town is a few minutes’ walk across the bridge. There are shops, pubs, and restaurants. The beach is about half a mile. There’s a launching spot for kayaks or paddleboards just across the road.
As part of your stay, you get free use of a heated swimming pool about two miles away. It’s open all year, has a lifeguard, and there’s a small toddler pool too.
For days out, Polperro is a short drive along the coast. You can get the Looe Valley Line train from the station up to Liskeard. By car, you can get to Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, all within half an hour.
In terms of what’s here, there’s a washing machine, WiFi, on-site parking, and bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a stairgate if you need them. No pets, sorry.
