2 Mount Pleasant
This is 2 Mount Pleasant in Looe. It's a townhouse looking right out over the river towards the town itself. The main thing about it is the view from the front windows. You'll spend a lot of time just looking at the water.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is spread over three floors. The stairs are standard for a house like this.
You're a few minutes' walk from the centre of Looe. The beach at East Looe is about half a mile. There are shops and pubs down there. The narrow streets are what you'd expect from a old fishing town.
If you've got kayaks or paddleboards, there's a launching spot right across the road from the house. The Looe Valley Line train runs from the station down the road. It's a nice trip through to Liskeard if you fancy it.
Within about half an hour's drive you can get to Polperro, which is another good spot for a wander. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both in that direction too. Bodmin Moor is accessible by car if you want more open space.
As part of the booking, you get free use of a swimming pool complex about two miles away. It's heated, has a lifeguard, and there's a toddlers' pool. It's open all year.
Facilities here: there's parking on site, a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. We have a cot and a stairgate if you need them. No pets, sorry.
