This is Moby House in Downderry. It's a semi-detached house, modern build. You get three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so it sleeps six. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It's clean and well looked after.
The main thing is the location. You're about a five minute walk from the beach here. It's a shingle beach, dog friendly all year round. The village has a shop and a couple of places to eat. The local pub does food. It's quiet.
If you want to go out, Looe is about a 15 minute drive west. It's a proper fishing town with a harbour, shops, that sort of thing. You can get boat trips from there. Polperro is a bit further, maybe 20 minutes. It's very pretty but can get busy.
Going the other way, east, you drive along the coast towards Rame Head. The views over Whitsand Bay are worth it. It's a long stretch of sand, but access is down steep paths from the cliffs. It's about a 25 minute drive.
The house itself is open plan downstairs. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We allow up to two. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on the driveway.
It works in winter too. It's warm and doesn't get damp.
For planning days out, the National Trust Cornwall page is useful, and so is the Cornwall National Landscape site for walks.
