Starfish
Starfish is an apartment in Seaton, which is near Looe in Cornwall. It's about 200 yards from the beach, which is a mix of sand and shingle.
It's got a four star rating, which is accurate. It's a clean, comfortable place to base yourself. There's parking on site which is handy.
The apartment sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's on a balcony level, so there's a set of outside stairs to get up to the front door. The balcony is yours to use. You get a decent view of the bay from there. Sunsets are good.
The living space is decent. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. WiFi, TV, that sort of thing. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You can take two dogs. There's a small charge for that.
The beach is south facing. It's good for crabbing in the rock pools. There's a beach cafe and a village pub, both a short walk away.
For bigger days out, Looe is about ten minutes drive. Plymouth, with the National Marine Aquarium, is about half an hour. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are roughly an hour.
Walking wise, you're on the South West Coast Path. The river walk through the Seaton Valley Countryside Wildlife Reserve is nice if you want something gentler.
There are two other apartments in the same building, Mermaids and Seahorses. You can book them together if you're a bigger group.
