Dehra Dun is in Downderry, up on the hill. It's a new house, built in 2023. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of a wall. The main thing is the view. It looks straight out to sea.
It sleeps nine people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well finished and has everything you'd need.
You go in on the middle floor. There's a big open kitchen and dining room with sliding doors onto a balcony. The living room is separate, which is good if some people want to watch TV and others don't. There's a Smart TV in there.
Stairs go down to three of the bedrooms. One has bunk beds with a pull-out trundle. The other two have king size beds and doors out to the patio. One of those has an en-suite shower. The main bedroom is up the stairs on the top floor. It has its own balcony and an en-suite bathroom with a big shower.
Outside, there's a patio with a barbecue area and seating. There's a large 6 metre swim spa or jacuzzi, which is heated. There's also an outdoor shower. You can park at the front and there's an electric car charger.
Downderry beach is about a twenty minute walk downhill. Seaton is the next village along the coast. It's got a few cafes and a pub. If you drive for ten or fifteen minutes east, you get to Portwrinkle, then Kingsand and Cawsand. They're nice little fishing villages on the Rame Head coast.
Plymouth is about a half hour drive. You've got the historic dockyard, the Barbican, and all the shops there. Dartmoor is about the same distance inland, the other direction.
The facilities are all there: dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
