Dehra Dun

This is Dehra Dun in Downderry. It's a new house, finished in 2023. It's detached and sits quite high up, so the main thing you get is the view. It looks straight out to sea.

It sleeps nine people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating. The house is on three floors. The stairs are fine, they're just normal stairs.

Inside, the main living area has big sliding doors that open onto a balcony. There's a separate living room as well if you want some quiet. They've put a lot of thought into the lighting, so it does feel quite nice in the evenings.

Outside, there's a patio area with a barbecue and seating. There's also a 6 metre long swim spa. It's more like a big jacuzzi pool than a swimming pool. There's an outdoor shower next to it.

You can walk down to Downderry beach. It's about a twenty minute walk, maybe a bit less. Seaton is the next village along the coast. It's got a few places to eat and a couple of pubs.

If you drive for ten or fifteen minutes east, you get to the Rame Head area. Portwrinkle, Kingsand and Cawsand are really nice. It's part of the Rame Head coast. Plymouth is about half an hour away. You've got the history there, the Barbican, and all the shops. Dartmoor is also within a thirty minute drive if you want to go inland.

In terms of facilities: it has private parking at the front with an electric car charger. There's WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. It's not a pet-friendly property.
