The Old Stable

The Old Stable is in Trenewan, which is in southeast Cornwall. It's a cottage converted from a stable, on a site with a few others. It's quiet here.

It sleeps two. One bedroom with an en-suite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well kept. The whole place is on the ground floor, so no stairs at all. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance.

The cottage has its own patio area. There's a shared garden and a kids' play area on site. It's very dog friendly, you can bring two. Everything like bedding, towels, and electricity is included. There's a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine.

For a shop you need to drive about a mile and a quarter. The closest pub and restaurant is a mile away. The coast is about four and a half miles to Looe or Polperro.

You're in a good spot for getting around. Looe is a busy little fishing port. Polperro is that classic narrow-street harbour village. Fowey is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes by car. It's a lovely estuary town.

Within half an hour you can get to a lot. The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan are both that way. For National Trust places, Lanhydrock House is a good day out. The south coast path is all along here for walking.
