Fairmaiden
Fairmaiden is in Polruan. It's on the south coast of Cornwall, across the river from Fowey. It's a terraced house, three storeys tall. The back garden is yours and it's enclosed.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One bathroom is on the top floor, the other is on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star place so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are worth noting. They're the original, steep cottage stairs. They're also a bit narrow in places.
You're right in the village. There's a shop and a couple of pubs a few minutes' walk away. The Ferry Inn is the classic one. To get to Fowey you take the foot passenger ferry from the pontoon. It runs most of the year and takes a couple of minutes.
You can walk onto the South West Coast Path from the house. One way goes towards Polperro, the other towards Par. It's steep in parts but the views are good.
For a bigger day out, Eden Project is about a 25 minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are similar. Charlestown, with the tall ships, is about 20 minutes away by car.
The house has a wood burner, WiFi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed but check the gates fit your dog.
