The Studio is on the edge of Mixtow, near Fowey in Cornwall. It's a reverse-level place, so you sleep downstairs and live upstairs. The main thing is the location. You're right on a tidal creek. If you've brought a boat, you can get straight onto the water. The grounds have a big pond with a waterfall, which is nice to look at. You get a lot of birds.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own shower rooms. One has a super kingsize bed that can be two singles. The other is a kingsize. They both open onto a patio that faces the garden.
Upstairs is the living room and kitchen. It's open plan. The sofas are comfortable. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen has what you'd need. Folding doors open onto a west-facing terrace, which gets the sun in the evening.
You should know the stairs are a typical cottage staircase. They're a bit steep and turn halfway. And because you're on a creek, the water comes and goes with the tide. It's muddy at low tide, but it's a proper bit of water when it's in.
Fowey is about a ten-minute drive. It's a proper little port town with shops, places to eat, and a ferry across to Polruan. The South West Coast Path runs right past there for walking. The Eden Project is roughly half an hour away by car.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. We ask that it stays off the furniture.
