Poundhouse
Poundhouse is a cottage on the Lanwithan Estate, just outside Lostwithiel. It's a ground floor flat, which might be good if you don't want stairs. There's shared garden space out front. It looks out over fields towards the Fowey Valley.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with a double and one with twins. One bathroom with a bath and an electric shower over it. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher.
The cottage is part of the old estate buildings. They used to press cider and do laundry here. The grounds are big and shared with the other cottages. There are walks through the woods on the estate itself.
Lostwithiel is about a ten minute walk. It's a small town, known for antiques shops. There are a couple of pubs, a few places to eat, and a supermarket. The river runs through it, so it's nice for a stroll.
You're well placed for getting around. The Eden Project is about a 20 minute drive. The beach at Par Sands is about 15 minutes away by car. Fowey is maybe 20 minutes. It's a proper fishing town with narrow streets and shops. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Lanhydrock, which is close.
For facilities: there's parking, wifi, a TV, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a cot if you need it.
