Bridgend Cottage is a small terraced house in Lostwithiel. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The front door opens straight onto the pavement.
The pub is just across the road. It's a proper local. They do food.
Lostwithiel itself is small. The main street has a few antique shops and cafes. The river runs through it, which is nice. For a bigger shop, there's a Co-op about five minutes walk away.
You're about a 15 minute drive from the south coast. Par Sands and Polkerris are good options for a beach day. Fowey is ten minutes in the other direction, for a bit more bustle and places to eat.
If you like walking, you're well placed. You can walk along the river from the town. The Lanhydrock estate is a couple of miles away, with miles of woodland paths. Bodmin Moor is about a 20 minute drive for something more rugged.
In terms of what's here, it's all included: bedding, towels, WiFi, parking around the back. There's a washing machine. It's all on one level so it's step-free from the street, but there's a small step inside between the living room and the kitchen. We have a cot and a highchair if needed.
