This is Bridgend Cottage in Lostwithiel. It's a small one bedroom place for two people. Good for a couple or a solo trip.
The cottage is quiet, set back from the road. You've got your own parking spot for one car. The garden is lawned, pretty simple but it's private.
Inside it's open plan downstairs. Living area and kitchen together. The kitchen has what you need. Upstairs is the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
The stairs are steep. They're open tread and a bit narrow. There's a stairgate fitted at the bottom if you have a little one with you. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the upstairs obviously isn't.
Lostwithiel is a small town. There are a few antique shops, a couple of pubs that do food, and a bakery. The river runs through it. Restormel Castle is just outside town. It's an English Heritage site, interesting for a walk around.
You’re well placed here. The Eden Project is about 20 minutes by car. The south coast, like Fowey and Polperro, is 15-20 minutes away. Bodmin Moor is about the same drive north. Truro is half an hour.
Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
