The Potting Shed
The Potting Shed is one of ours, in Par. It's a detached house, so no neighbours sharing a wall. It’s in a quiet bit of the village, set back from the road.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and a twin. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well kitted out and comfortable. The stairs are fine. It's got level access at the front door and a downstairs loo.
You can walk to Par sands in about ten minutes. It's a long beach with dunes. Par station is a short walk too. You can get trains east to Plymouth or west all the way down to Penzance, which is useful if you don't fancy driving. The Eden Project is about a ten minute drive from here.
Charlestown, with the old tall ships, is a five minute drive. Fowey is about ten minutes by car. It’s a proper old harbour town, good for a wander and something to eat. You can get the ferry over to Polruan from there. For a bigger day out, the National Trust has a lot of coastal spots nearby like Lanhydrock or Polperro.
The house has a kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine in the utility room, and WiFi. The garden out the back is private, with a patio and furniture. There's parking for one car and an electric vehicle charger. We allow one well-behaved dog.
