This is Lower Deck. It's a one-bedroom apartment in Fowey, on the third floor of a building called The Square Rig. It's for two people. It has a 4 Star rating.
The main thing is the balcony. It's big and looks straight out over the river. You'll spend time out there.
The apartment is part of a converted boat store. The building has a shared games room with a pool table and some toys, which is handy if the weather isn't great. There's also a shared laundry.
Fowey itself is a proper little town. Everything is on your doorstep. You can walk to the shops, the bakery, the pubs, and the quay in a few minutes. The ferries to Bodinnick and Polruan are just down the hill.
If you want a beach, Readymoney Cove is about a fifteen-minute walk. It's sandy and sheltered. For a bigger stretch of sand, you'd drive to Polkerris or Par, which are about ten minutes away by car.
The Hall Walk from Bodinnick is the best local walk. You get the ferry across, do the circular route, and end up back in Fowey. The views are very good.
If you're driving, the Eden Project is about twenty minutes away. The Lanhydrock estate is maybe twenty-five minutes. Mevagissey is a nice trip, or you can get the boat there from Fowey in the summer.
Inside, it's got everything you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Pets aren't allowed.
Parking is in a public car park about a three-minute walk away. You get a permit for one car for the duration of your stay.
